All is quiet at EE for the moment, but we hope to be back soon….
The Star has run a piece about Lost Garden playing at Record Collector, sadly, due to space restraints, it’s likely to be Nick on his own. More details to follow.
Lost Garden played a couple of gigs to celebrate the launch of their debut CD Cotyledon including Record Collector and Cafe#9. A good time was had by all and thanks to Barry and Steve for letting us into their venues!
What better way to launch a CD than at the very wonderful Record Collector shop at Broomhill? We will be squeezing in amongst Barry’s collection to play a short set on Friday, May 22nd at 12 noon.
The CD will be on sale but if you cannot get along, check the EE shop out.
A video (by the inestimable Phil Booth and Jex Creek) of the Lost Garden 2015 Awakenings gig in Burton
Some nice images from a gig in Burton on Trent, shot by Phil Booth. The complete gig can be downloaded from the English Electric Club, open to anyone buying any of our CDs.
We’ve added some short excerpts from Cotyledon and Sometime Man – see under “audio”….
Everyone will want to be seen sporting the latest Lost Garden t-shirts, but they can’t as they are only available through this site! Details are in the SHOP menu above.
Here’s a review of Andy Weaver’s CD by Nigel Cross taken from the Bull Tongue Review, a “Quarterly Journal of Post-Rock”.
